Forbes rated the nation’s 100 most populous Metropolitan Statistical Areas and found Raleigh was fourth on the list of America’s Fastest Growing Cities in 2012.

24/7 Wall St. placed Raleigh seventh on its list of the 10 best run cities in America.

Third "Best Performing City" - January 2013

The Raleigh-Cary Metropolitan Statistical Area climbed to third in the 2012 Milken Institute’s Best Performing Cities Index. The area was 14th in 2011.
